The Future Of eBook And Digital Information Technology
The future of ebook is one of the popular hot debate going on by top leaders of the industry. It is a conversation topic from Wall Street Joutnal to E-magazines. Many are interested in the commercial development and security of the copy rights.
Hard cover book publishers are already in an awe to see the evolution of digital publications and distribution. Adobe and Microsoft are working around the clock to come up with a plan to develop their digital rights management platforms. Hard book publishers are planning a successful plan for an economic turn that will last their business in coming 400 to 500 years. The slower than expected adoption of ebooks has not helped this transition.
Ebooks are becoming popular:
New ebook publishers are signing up every month. The future of the ebook feels very great. The site ebooks dot com is getting thousands of new comers and the numbers just keep growing.
Reading Devices for ebooks:
Sony’s reader device supports for adobe’s PDF format files. This reader can display several other formats. But if you want to buy book’s for the Sony readers, you will have to use Sony connect ebook store via your computer. These books are protected with the digital rights management which limits the number of reader devices on which they can be displayed.
Amazon Kindle Device is managed just the same. It supports many ebook format but if you want to purchase an ebook specific to kindle, you must do that through amazon Kindle store.
Also, if an ebook writer or publisher wants to offer the book in an ebook format, Amazon specific format can not be viewed on Sony’s reader and Sony’s specific book format can not be viewed at Amazon. In case you want to have an ebook viewed on all book readers like Sony, Kindle and Barn and Nobles you have to have a separate files for each format.
Method of purchase – Will it change with other changes?
This market is so new that a store front is necessary to purchase and download new content. Contents are available with limited resources. Just as publishers must write several versions of their mobile content to accommodate black berries iPhones and other devices the coding of ebooks can have multiple readers acceptability. All this requires a secure and new methods of purchase that are to come with the ebooks with multiple readers device acceptability.
So, the future of ebook and books is in a non decisive condition. There are multiple choices for every step but they are hardly convenient. Searches and methods of creating the best way to handle all books and ebooks have yet to be finalized for the future. Hard cover books are here to stay. But ebooks will will become more popular because they create much more ease of reading and life in general and because people are eager to add digital information technology to improve their life.

It amazes me that even though WE know what ebooks are, there are still millions of people out there who ask, what’s an ebook!
I did read somewhere that Ebooks for the Kindle outsold paper or real books last christmas, if that’s true it’s crazy!

I have been trying to get to grips with reading ebooks on my ipad but there is something that just doesn’t feel right – as a result I keep drifting back to the paper versions. My brain seems to thrive on the feel and the smell of the book. The electronic versions feel somewhat lifeless!

is familiar to me. As I have been reading technology revolution and how reading devices interact. So, Alexis ebook is still in infancy and will take sometime to grow to be perfect.
Something exciting I have for online marketers and all bloggers is the fact that along with ebook revolution, free contents (blogs and articles) can also be channeled to the reading devices and become a paid gig, when a reader searches for information and reads the information from a blog post via reading device, will have to pay for the content.

I believe that books will still be around even with all these new ebooks. I don’t like to read at my PC. I rather sit outside and read a book. It’s just something different.

Being an avid reader I can say the the news of printed books is near death is not likely true. At least not as long as the generation who grew up reading print books is around.
I have a kindle and I do most of my reading on it. But for books that I “really” look forward too I still prefer having the real thing in my hand. Even if it costs a few extra bucks.
50 years from now, when my generation is dead and gone (or few enough in numbers not to matter) then perhaps all the people that GREW UP reading ebooks might very well make make the printed book disappear.

The eReaders are really making this market explode. Does the Kindle read PDF’s? I would really like to find that out.

I just bought a book on the internet and to my surprise it was a digital download. It was a great idea for them to save money on printing but now I have the choice of either looking at my computer for hours at a time or buying more printer ink.
