I came to know of Google Caffeine in summer 2009, when I was searching to read about Google free traffic options.  Google Caffeine was announced in November 2009.  It launched in June, 2010 and it is all about Google search technology infrastructure.

Google blog and Google’s engineer Matt Cutts called it a new indexing system.  Google Caffeine is based on the changes in the basic frame work of indexing, that ensures faster results.  So far changes to your specific web design and site structure do not seem to be forth coming and your overall Google experience will not change much at all.

So, what did Google Caffeine bring for an online writer?  Changes in the search and indexing will help online writers to save time.  Google caffeine has a new way of search index which is not much different than before for the user except:

1.  Search is much faster than before due to the new changes to Google search technology.

2.  Google Caffeine indexes new and relevant information much faster then before.

So for everyone Google now provides most accurate and more relevant search at a much faster speed.

Google Caffeine as the name itself tells is an added energy to Google’s already successful search engine and search index.  This is an effort from Google to index more of the web and provide more relevant results for each query, caffeine is utilizing real live search traffic that previously was used by breaking news stories only.

Google was taking twenty four to forty-eight hours to optimize the new searches where as the increased rush of information from Twitter and Facebook is much faster than this.  So, Google has to change the infrastructure of indexing to a faster version  to keep its position at the top of search engine on the world wide web.

Key words and its use is going to play major role in the Google Caffeine.  Semantic searches are becoming more important now with the application of Google Caffeine.

Benefits To Online Writers:

1.  Easier Access To Information:

It is much easier to get information with Google Caffeine and so it’s great help to students and professionals and knowledge seekers in any form and shape.  Writers who are always searching for the latest information to add to their portfolio can use Google Caffeine to upgrade their knowledge with Google Search.  Though critics, and those who see the glass empty in any case, say it is adding more to the confusion of information overload Internet obsessed people.

2.   Breaking News As Top Search Results:

Breaking news stories are expected to remain at the top results.  While friend feed is more likely to score a top spot of the videos and images, this might bring less relevant results for searches.  But it is not yet proven.

Now how this benefits apply to writers.  To get the best results as a writer, try your best to publish the latest information, your articles will get # 1 rank in search results in few minutes of being published, if you are using the right key words and search engine optimization techniques, as needed.

3.  Page Load Up Time:

A higher speed that Google Caffeine is claiming, will help all of us in the loading up of the pages when searching.  With the extra Caffeine jolt in 2010 the page load time must diminish from two seconds to what…is yet to be noticed.

4.   Keywords and phrases:

Importance to keywords and phrases has become a notch higher than before.  As relevancy of the keywords is very important to search engine optimization.  This is an important factor for the pages to be indexed faster than before.  As a writer you have to make sure that the keywords you are using in your articles must be relevant and with medium or low search numbers.

5. Organic Listings and PPC:

Caffeine emphasizes the importance of organic listings and that is why they have paid more attention to Google search technology.  PPC will get even more importance, as PPC is paid advertisement and needs results faster than organic listings.

So, Google Caffeine is only to implement better search by changing the indexing system that will make Google more compatible, and search results will not take 24-48 hours, but as soon as possible, that is in minutes.

To get ranking in the search engines everyone will have to pay more attention to search engine optimization and keywords.  Online writers have to produce better contents with relevant keywords and unique methods to express so they can easily get high ranking by getting the same attention as breaking news.
